September 4, 2007 -- Year 2006 set an all-time high for actuator production at TSE. 2007 production is on a pace to set new records and continues to see increases in sales growth.

North American sales numbers for 2007 have declined when compared to 2006, in keeping with US heavy truck and trailer production drop in conjunction with the diesel engine pre-buy of year 2006. However, world wide sales for TSE have increased. The outlook is for more growth in many of these markets well into year 2008. TSE HOT disc brake actuator sales are responsible for much of our worldwide sales increase; Drum brake actuator sales in Europe remain relatively steady. However, unofficial market share reports vary from 60-80% for air disc brake sales compared to drum cam brakes on trailers.

Because TSE has invested heavily in quality systems, more modern production equipment, and improved product design, the larger share of TSE sales is now concentrated in the OEM market as compared to lower priced aftermarket products. At TSE, we still appreciate and pursue aftermarkt business, but TSE is not the lowest price vendor in the market place.
