Double Diaphragm Technology
HOT's patent pending design was developed using TSE's 40 years of experience with diaphragm air brake chambers. The unit is sealed using TSE's exclusive patented welded sealing process to reduce profile and to avoid an inadvertent dangerous disassembly.

More Powerful, Higher Output
Air suspensions, lowered frame rails, larger fuel tanks, ABS, and other additional equipment have become more common on modern trucks and trailers. Since these somponents typically require additional space, the dimensional profile available for air brake actuators is reduced. HOT air brake actuators yield greater performance when compared to standard design air brake actuators, while retaining smaller profiles. OEMs and Fleet operators are now able to fit more powerful actuators where additional power may be required from either the service or emergency section of the air brake actuator.

Guaranteed Seal Protection for Disk Brake Actuators
TSE knows how critical the integrity of the disc brake internal mechanism is, which is why we developed and tested our seal under the most stringent corrosive conditions. Special environmental testing chambers were built to test in accordance with leading manufacturer's slurry and underwater tests. In the slurry test, HOT chambers were attached to the foundation brake and cycled more than one million cycles, according to a strict schedule, alternating between a corrosive formula of mud slurry and dry dust. This was done to prove that the various components of the HOT actuators not only survive but continue to yeild high performance under adverse climatic conditions.

Larger Size Range (S-CAM, Hot Disc)
TSE now provides more air brake actuator sizes and more service and emergency performance than ever before. For example, we can increase the performance of the type 30 service chamber up to a type 33 without altering the dimensional profile. The HOT product line ranges from type 16 to type 36 on the service side and type 16 to type 30 on the parking side for Europe and from type 24 to type 36 on the parking side for the U.S.

Lighter, Shorter Profile (S-CAM, Hot Disc)
TSE's HOT product line is the first worldwide design currently in production to offer a significant increase in performance when compared to standard diaphragms commonly used. HOT offers powerful piston brake performance in a lighter, shorter and circumferentially equal profile to that of piston brakes. What looks like a standard type 24 service chamber may actually be a HOT model, performing like a standard type 27. What appears to be an Omnibrake 3030 may be performing like a 3336 standard model.

Lower Cost (S-CAM, Hot Disc)
The most significant achievement TSE has made in the development of HOT is our ability to utilize less expensive parts than those traditionally used in piston brakes. This results in substantially lower prices for the end user. HOT is expected to take the market by surprise, making air disc brakes more affordable worldwide.
